The above video is a demonstration of how we determine the shape of the brace best suited for you.

We are a division of Lerman & Son Orthotics and Prosthetics, a company that has been in business since 1915. We have been in the Orthotic Pectus Carinatum Remodeling business since 2003. At that time, we were approached by Steven Chen MD. Dr. Chen is the director of Pediatric Surgery and the director of Pediatric Trauma at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles , California . Dr. Chen asked us to design an Orthotic Pectus Carinatum Remodeling system that was based on the research of Sydney Haje MD who started treating patients in 1977, in Brazil . In 2005, Donald Shaul MD, a pediatric surgeon at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, also began to refer patients based on the success of treatment from Dr Chen's patients. In 2003, we were the first company on the west coast to pioneer the Orthotic Pectus Carinatum treatment. Our method uses a custom molded approach specific to each patient emphasizing total dynamic corrective forces. We digitally scan each patient measuring the Pectus Carinatum Slope Differential which allows us to document patient improvement(outcome) data.

You have a right to expect the best possible treatment system. We have the most experienced staff available. Many practices send their measurements to central fabrication facilities or use off-the-shelf products. At Pectus-Bracing.com, we are in full control of evaluation, measurement and follow-up process until treatment process ends. We follow-up and see each patient on a regular basis, digitally document improvement and help each patient through the process. Our professional clinicians are available for questions and on-the-spot adjustments when necessary. Orthotic Pectus Carinatum remodeling due to improved diagnostic and treatment methods has captured our interest with the purpose of improving the standard of treatment over existing antiquated systems. We look forward to sharing our excitement knowing that you are getting the best possible treatment available.
